Admission will be $5, kids under 14 and dogs will be free; each child and dog must be accompanied by at least one adult. You do not need to bring your pet to get it a reading.

Madison Hall provides a perfect location for this Halloween gala given its grandeur, rich history and mystery.

Halloween, Spirit Fair, Historic Event all in one.
This will be a unique event which looks to bring together diverse interests and activities in one event all in the spirit of Halloween. Attendees will be able to browse for metaphysical items, get a healing or a reading, get a reading for their pet as well as learn about Madison County’s history, albeit with a mysterious Halloween twist. A children’s storyteller is preliminarily planned for during the day.

Here are some of the things planned:
Readers—Psychic, astrological, Tarot, stone
Healers—Energy medicine, Reiki, Homeopaths
Metaphysical Vendors
Spirit (Aura) and Face Painting
Pet Readers
Ghost Walks—In and around Madison Hall which is rumored to be haunted.
Madison County Tales—In the spirit of Halloween hear about Mysterious Louis Muller, the Loomis gang from Historians
History/Local Flavor—Local groups and historical societies will be invited to table so that you can learn more about Madison County.
Children’s Story Teller—Tentatively planned.
More………………..

We are still planning this event and hope to have some fun things to do in the evening.

A “Madison County Halloween”
Bob Canino, organizer and steering committee member, came up with the idea for a Madison County Halloween. “I thought it would be good to have an event that is focused on and honors Madison County,” Canino said. Canino a resident of Madison County added “we were looking to create a signature event that people can come to year after year and benefit Spirit House Society.” Canino was the lead organizer of the highly successful Spirit Fair at the Cazenovia American Legion on August 13th that drew over 200 people.

Spirit House Society founder Madis Senner said that “we look to have a fun filled event that educates people about Madison County and particularly about Spirit House.” Senner felt it important to bring in history, “the Spirit House Society is made up of people with diverse interests—preservationist and historically minded as well as spiritually motivated. An event like this is an attempt to bring them all together and tell people what we are about.” Senner felt it was also important to begin working with other local groups saying “we are in this together. While we still have a long way to go in our effort to purchase Spirit House it is never too early to begin working with similar groups.”
