Today's Visit

Today's visit was a fun filled success. Terry Blowers stated that the House is structurally sound. Joscelyn Godwin brought a series of floors plans going back to the original house. Wow. Having the house gutted has exposed lots of old timbers and other features. Fortunately, some of the molding that had been pulled was kept. More coming............

Members Viewing of House

March 26th, Saturday, 9 to 11AM showing and inspection of Spirit House for members only--a group of contractors, preservationists and architects will be giving us their opinions. There may or may not be a meeting afterwards at 11AM.

We have set up a listing on Indiegogo http://www.indiegogo.com/Help-Save-Historic-Spirit-House for donations. As much as we hope to raise money we are also hoping to raise awareness about our effort nationally and globally. We hope that this will help us longer term should we be able to acquire Spirit House once we open the doors for visitors. It certainly gets us identified beyond the upstate NY area.
